Are you interested in working onboard? For tendering in Prince William Sound we work with a captain and 2-3 crew onboard. For longlining and/or crabbing we have a captain and 3-4 crew onboard.
Our salmon tendering season starts at the end of May and typically runs until the beginning of September. We are based out of Cordova and deliver fish to Trident Seafoods. We typically deliver into Cordova though sometimes we will deliver fish to a floating processor in the Sound.
Safety is paramount onboard and we strive to ensure all work is done with care and caution. Ryan (owner/operator of the Thalassa) is happy to teach crew the skills needed to become valuable crew members, engineers, or captains if they are interested in pursuing a career in commercial fishing.
